Now, your Uncle Barney and I took it pretty hard; she was getting to spend a lot of time with another billionaire playboy, this guy named Tony Stark. Your Uncle Barney almost went crazy when he found out the guy had a metal suit.

In the 19th Century having a photograph taken was a lengthy process. Frustrated by the difficulties of getting children to sit still long enough to snap a proper photo , photographers in the 1800’s conceived of a technique called “The Hidden Mother”. Draping a sheet over the mothers head in an attempt to camouflage her as a part of the furniture to better emphasize the child, the mother was then able to hold her infant and keep them still long enough for the camera to get an exposure. Vintage photographs already have a eerie feel to them, but these images of moms as cloaked phantoms take the creep factor to the next level.

IKEA’s KNÄPPA Cardboard Digital Camera
Another daring idea to approach from the IKEA labs is this carboard digital camera, it’s as basic as it gets but the key thing is that it’s inventive + it WORKS!
Apparently they won’t be up for sale but will be given out at IKEA stores for people to take pictures of their new furnishing once it’s all set up…great concept, great product.
“Once 40 photos have been taken, users plug the 2.3 megapixel camera – billed as “the world’s cheapest digital camera” – into a USB port and transfer the images in the normal manner. Images can then be deleted from the camera by using a paperclip to press the delete button on the front for about five seconds.”
